Job Overview We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Summer Substitute Toddler/Preschool Teachers to join our vibrant early childhood education team! This temporary role offers the exciting opportunity to inspire young learners, foster their developmental growth, and create a nurturing classroom environment. There is potential for this position to transition into a full-time teaching role, providing a rewarding career path in early childhood education. Ideal candidates will bring energy, creativity, and a passion for working with children, ensuring each child's experience is engaging, educational, and joyful. Duties Implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early childhood development, literacy education, and social-emotional skills. Engage children in activities that support classroom management, behavior management, and classroom engagement strategies. Support toddlers and preschoolers with daily care routines, including diapering, feeding, and hygiene practices aligned with best practices in early childhood education. Assist in lesson planning in a Christian environment and adapt activities to meet the diverse needs of students in the classroom. Foster a safe environment by promoting child welfare and implementing behavior management techniques. Collaborate with team members. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about children's progress and classroom activities to ensure transparency and partnership. Requirements Prior experience working with children in classroom settings such as preschool, or private schools. Knowledge of early child development principles and early childhood education standards, Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques tailored for toddlers and preschoolers. Strong communication skills to engage with children, parents, colleagues, and specialists. Ability to manage behavior effectively while fostering a positive learning environment. Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for professional growth is essential.
