Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to inspire and nurture young learners during their formative years. In this role, you will create a vibrant, engaging classroom environment that promotes childhood development, literacy education, and social-emotional growth. Your enthusiasm for working with children will help foster a love of learning, support early intervention strategies, and ensure each child's unique needs are met with care and professionalism. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while developing your skills in curriculum development, classroom management, and early childhood education. Responsibilities Design and implement dynamic lesson plans aligned with developmental milestones, including curriculum development tailored to preschool and toddler care. Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction. Support children's emotional well-being by applying behavior management techniques and promoting positive social skills. Collaborate with families, specialists in special education, and early intervention providers to support each child's individual needs. Conduct assessments of childhood development progress using standardized testing methods and document observations accurately. Manage classroom routines efficiently, ensuring smooth transitions between activities such as physical education, literacy activities, and playtime. Maintain clear communication with colleagues and parents to provide updates on child welfare, progress, and classroom activities. Qualifications 18 yrs or older High school diploma or equivalent must pass background check Experience preferred by not required Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Ability to preform lifting of 5-30lbs ongoing professional development is encouraged.
