Preschool Teacher​

Overview:

We are looking for preschool teachers who have a passion for teaching children about Jesus and His love for them while also fostering their development needs. Our preschool serv​es children 18 months

• 5 years old. Teachers are required to work Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 8:30 am to 2:30pm. This position will also include training days and special events as planned by the director. We will follow the Red Oak ISD school calendar. Teachers will work August
• May, with no pay in June and July.

Teaching experience in an early childhood setting is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Support and implement the mission of the school which includes Bible teaching
• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans to engage preschool-aged children in learning activities
• Provide a safe and supportive environment that fosters social, emotional, and cognitive development
• Monitor and assess each child's progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed
• Collaborate with parents and caregivers to ensure continuity between home and school environments
• Incorporate creative teaching methods to enhance literacy, physical education, and overall childhood development
• Implement behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior and social skills
• Foster a love for learning through interactive and hands-on educational experiences

Skills:

• Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting
• Familiarity with literacy education techniques for early learners
