Canyon Creek Daycare (2800 Custer Pkwy Richardson, TX 75080) Canyon Creek Daycare is a warm, nurturing Christian preschool and childcare center dedicated to providing a safe, loving, and faith-based environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. We are currently seeking a dependable and flexible Floater Teacher to support multiple classrooms and age groups.

Position Summary:

The Floater Teacher will work with various age groups (infants through preschool) as needed, assisting lead teachers, maintaining classroom routines, and helping ensure a positive learning environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, teamwork, and working with children of all ages.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide classroom support across multiple age groups (infants, toddlers, twos, and preschool) Assist with daily routines such as meals, diapering/potty training, nap time, and transitions Help implement age-appropriate activities and lesson plans Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play Support children's social, emotional, and spiritual development Encourage positive behavior and help guide children using developmentally appropriate strategies Communicate respectfully with staff and families Follow all licensing, safety, and school policies

Qualifications:

Experience working with children in a childcare or preschool setting preferred Ability to work with multiple age groups and adapt quickly Positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and reliability Passion for working with children and supporting their development Must be able to meet state licensing requirements (background check, CPR/First Aid, etc.) Must be comfortable supporting a Christian learning environment Why Work With Us?
