Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Montessori Support/Assistant Guide to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will work closely with Lead Guides to create a nurturing, engaging, and structured environment tailored to the developmental needs of toddlers. Your enthusiasm for working with young children and your understanding of Montessori principles will help foster independence, curiosity, and foundational skills in our youngest learners. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic classroom where every child's growth is celebrated. Responsibilities Support the Lead Guide in implementing Montessori-based lesson plans focused on toddler development, including literacy, math, and practical life skills Assist in creating a warm, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence Engage with children through play, activities, and daily routines that promote social-emotional growth and behavioral management Help with classroom organization, including preparing materials for lessons and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards Observe individual children's progress and communicate insights to the Lead Guide to support personalized learning plans Support classroom management strategies that foster positive behavior and respectful interactions among children Collaborate with team members to develop curriculum adaptations suitable for toddlers with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or autism Experience Prior experience working in early childhood education settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools is preferred Knowledge of Montessori methods and toddler care practices is highly desirable Experience in lesson planning, curriculum development, and literacy education at the preschool level Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies for young children Hands-on experience working with children with special needs or developmental delays is a plus Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists Demonstrated ability to work patiently and compassionately with young children in a structured environment Join us in shaping the early educational experiences of our youngest learners! Pay:
$13.00 - $15.00 per hour
