Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Montessori AMS Certified Lead Infant Room Guide to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will serve as the primary caregiver and educational leader for infants in a nurturing Montessori environment, fostering developmentally appropriate learning experiences that promote curiosity, independence, and social-emotional growth. Your expertise will help create a warm, engaging space where young children feel safe, valued, and inspired to explore their world. Duties Lead daily classroom activities, implementing Montessori principles tailored for infants to support their physical, cognitive, and emotional development Develop and execute age-appropriate lesson plans that incorporate curriculum development strategies focused on early childhood education and literacy education Foster a nurturing environment that promotes positive behavior management and social skills among infants and toddlers Collaborate with families to communicate progress, milestones, and individualized care plans, ensuring transparency and strong relationships Maintain accurate documentation of each child's developmental progress, adhering to standards for childhood development and early intervention practices Manage classroom routines including diapering, feeding, nap times, and sensory activities with compassion and professionalism Ensure compliance with all safety protocols related to childcare, child welfare, and daycare regulations while maintaining a clean, organized classroom environment Requirements Montessori AMS Certification for Infant/Toddler (or equivalent credential) is required Proven classroom management experience in early childhood settings with infants or toddlers Strong knowledge of child development theories, including special education and early intervention techniques Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing educational activities aligned with Montessori standards Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, staff, and community partners Familiarity with standardized testing methods used in early childhood education settings Demonstrated ability to work with children requiring additional support such as those involved in early intervention programs or special education services Passion for working with young children and commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment Join us in shaping the future by nurturing the potential of every infant through innovative teaching practices rooted in Montessori philosophy.
