Full-Time Toddler Teacher 1699 Hillcrest Drive, Rockdale, TX 76567 Full-time Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment for children. This role involves working closely with students to enhance their academic skills, promote child welfare, and support their overall development. Responsibilities Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards, focusing on literacy education, math, and early intervention strategies. Assess student progress through standardized testing and other evaluation methods to tailor instruction to individual needs. Create a nurturing classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and engagement. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and any concerns related to child welfare. Provide support for children with diverse learning needs, including those requiring special education services. Collaborate with fellow educators to share best practices and develop innovative teaching strategies. Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational trends. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred. Experience working with children in an educational or daycare setting is highly desirable. Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and practices. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues. Familiarity with literacy education techniques and standardized testing procedures is advantageous. Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and enthusiasm while working with students from diverse backgrounds. Commitment to promoting child welfare and creating an inclusive classroom environment.
