Responsibilities Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards, focusing on literacy education, math, and early intervention strategies. Assess student progress through standardized testing and other evaluation methods to tailor instruction to individual needs. Create a nurturing classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and engagement. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and any concerns related to child welfare. Provide support for children with diverse learning needs, including those requiring special education services. Collaborate with fellow educators to share best practices and develop innovative teaching strategies. Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational trends. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred. Experience working with children in an educational or daycare setting is highly desirable. Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and practices. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues. Familiarity with literacy education techniques and standardized testing procedures is advantageous.
