In this dynamic role, you will play a vital part in creating a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment for children of various ages. Whether preparing nutritious meals or stepping into classrooms to support teachers, your contributions will make a meaningful difference in children's lives every day. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in childcare, classroom management, and early childhood education. Duties Prepare and serve healthy, balanced meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary needs and age groups Assist with classroom activities, providing support to lead teachers across different age groups including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs Support classroom management by engaging children in educational play, behavior management strategies, and developmental activities Float between classrooms as needed to cover staff absences or assist with special programs, ensuring seamless daily operations Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in food preparation areas and classrooms to promote a healthy environment Collaborate with staff to implement individualized care plans for children with disabilities or special educational needs Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures and emergency response guidelines Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or classroom settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience with infant care, toddler care, or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies Certifications such as first aid and CPR are desirable; ongoing training in special education or working with children with disabilities is advantageous Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment Passion for nurturing children's growth and supporting their developmental milestones Join us to make a positive impact on children's lives while advancing your career in childcare!
