  • Full-time Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Director to lead our educational facility.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in education administration and higher education teaching, along with a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for children. This role requires effective leadership skills, the ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and the community, and a deep understanding of child development principles. Duties Oversee the daily operations of the child care center, ensuring compliance with state regulations and standards. Develop and implement educational programs that promote the physical, emotional, and intellectual growth of children. Supervise and mentor staff, providing guidance on teaching methods and classroom management. Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Conduct regular assessments of program effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to improve quality. Manage budgets, resources, and materials to ensure an efficient operation. Foster a positive environment that encourages teamwork among staff members. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Education Administration, or a related field is preferred. Experience in higher education teaching or university settings is highly desirable. Proven experience working with students in an educational capacity. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to create a supportive learning environment for both children and staff. Knowledge of child development theories and practices.
