In this role, you will lead classroom activities for our youngest learners, fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes growth and development. Your passion for working with children will inspire curiosity, independence, and a love of learning in toddlers and infants alike. As a leader in our classroom, you will collaborate with fellow educators to implement engaging curriculum plans that support each child's unique needs and developmental milestones. Duties Lead daily classroom activities for toddlers and infants, ensuring a safe and engaging environment that encourages exploration and learning Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards and developmental goals Foster positive behavior management strategies to promote social-emotional growth and cooperation among children Monitor individual progress, documenting developmental milestones and communicating regularly with parents or guardians Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or caregivers, providing guidance to ensure high-quality care and educational practices Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to health, safety, and licensing regulations Incorporate best practices in childcare, including infant care techniques, preschool activities, and classroom management strategies Requirements Proven experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings; prior experience as a lead teacher preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education methodologies, and behavior management techniques Valid certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are a plus Strong classroom management skills with the ability to nurture a positive learning atmosphere Excellent communication skills for collaborating with parents, team members, and administrative staff Demonstrated ability to handle caregiving responsibilities such as diapering, feeding, and supervising active toddlers and infants Commitment to creating an inclusive environment that supports diversity and individual needs Join us in shaping the future by providing exceptional care and education to our youngest learners!
