Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Childcare Assistant Director to lead and inspire our early childhood education programs. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, support curriculum development, and ensure a nurturing environment where children can thrive. Your leadership will foster collaboration among staff, engage with families, and uphold high standards of safety and educational excellence. Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership to the childcare center, ensuring smooth daily operations and adherence to licensing regulations. Develop, implement, and evaluate engaging curriculum plans that promote developmental growth across all age groups. Supervise, mentor, and support teaching staff to maintain high-quality classroom experiences and professional growth. Oversee budgeting processes, manage resources efficiently, and coordinate fundraising efforts to support program sustainability. Collaborate with families to foster positive relationships, address concerns, and communicate program goals effectively. Lead staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to build a motivated and competent team. Engage in public speaking opportunities within the community to promote the center's mission and programs. Qualifications Proven experience in education administration or management within early childhood or childcare settings. Strong background in curriculum development, classroom experience, and working directly with children. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising teams of educators or staff members. Excellent communication skills suitable for public speaking and engaging diverse audiences. Knowledge of budgeting, strategic planning, and fundraising strategies to support program growth. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining a positive environment for children and staff. Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
