Join our vibrant Montessori childhood education team as an Infant Teacher, where your passion for nurturing young minds will help lay a strong foundation for children's growth and development. This role offers both morning and afternoon shifts, providing flexible opportunities to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our youngest students. As an Infant Teacher, you will create a warm, engaging, and safe environment that fosters curiosity, social-emotional skills, and early learning milestones. Your dedication will support families and contribute to a positive classroom experience that promotes joy and discovery. AM shift is 6:30 AM until 1:30 or 3 PM. PM shift is 1:30 or 3 PM until closing at 6:30 PM. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans tailored to infants' developmental stages, including literacy education, motor skills, and social-emotional growth. Provide attentive care by monitoring health, safety, and well-being throughout the day. Manage classroom activities with effective classroom management strategies to ensure a structured yet flexible learning environment. Support early intervention efforts by recognizing developmental delays or behavioral challenges and collaborating with specialists when necessary. Engage children through interactive lessons, physical education activities, and play-based learning to promote childhood development. Maintain detailed documentation of each child's progress, behavior management plans, and lesson planning records. Foster open communication with families about their child's milestones, daily activities, and any concerns related to child welfare or special education needs. Skills Strong background in early childhood education with experience in preschool or daycare settings. Knowledge of curriculum development techniques that incorporate Montessori methods or other educational philosophies. Proficiency in classroom management and behavior management strategies to create a positive learning environment. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents, colleagues, and specialists. Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, and physical education activities.
