We are seeking a nurturing and energetic teacher that is passionate about early childhood education, and is dedicated to providing a safe, stimulating, and loving environment for our younger learners.
Responsibilities:
Create a
Safe & Nurturing Classroom:
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
Develop & Implement Curriculum:
Design and lead age-appropriate, engaging activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
Positive Child Interactions:
Foster positive relationships with each child, modeling and teaching self-esteem, self-discipline, and conflict resolution through positive redirection.
Daily Care & Routines:
Supervise and assist with daily routines including potty assisting, meals, handwashing, nap time, and curriculum.
Observe & Assess:
Observe each child's development, identifying needs and interests to facilitate learning and growth.
Parent Communication:
Collaborate and communicate with parents and other staff daily to support a child's development and well-being.
Teamwork:
Participate in staff meetings, training, and collaborate with the teaching team to create a positive work environment, punctual with a strong work ethic.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 year(s) of experience working with children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting is preferred. Passion for
Early Childhood:
A genuine love for working with children and understanding their unique developmental needs.
Skills:
Strong communication skills, the ability to multitask, and excellent observation skills.
Education:
High School Diploma/GED required, or some college coursework in Early Childhood Education Montessori certification preferred but not required
Background Check:
Must pass a background check CPR/First Aid certified is preferred

From $16.00 per hour
