Job Description

Overview We are looking for an experienced Preschool Lead Teacher to join our early childhood team. Responsibilities include curriculum planning, classroom management, and fostering children's development. Candidates should have experience with young children, strong classroom management skills, and knowledge of literacy, behavior, and childhood development. This teacher will help maintain a positive, engaging classroom environment. At our school, faith is woven into everyday experiences, fostering a love for God and a strong sense of community among students, families and staff. Duties Deliver lessons in literacy, math, and other subject areas. Maintain a safe, inclusive classroom. Foster social-emotional growth through behavior management. Update parents on progress and events. Assess developmental and academic milestones. Adapt teaching for different learning styles. Keep accurate records. Clean up after lunch, snack, art projects, and at end of day Assist and maintain children's personal hygiene Follow all childcare health and safety regulations. Qualifications Previous experience in a preschool or daycare classroom Knowledge of childhood development, behavior, and classroom management Familiarity with curriculum development across literacy, math, and core subjects. Strong communication skills with children, families, and staff CDA Certification or BA with coursework in early childhood education (preferred); private school or daycare experience beneficial Dedicated to a nurturing learning environment that supports whole child development.
