This role offers an exciting opportunity to support multiple classrooms, assist lead teachers, and promote positive behavior management while fostering a love for learning. Responsibilities Support classroom activities by assisting teachers with daily routines, including diapering, feeding, and nap times for infants and toddlers. Engage children in age-appropriate play, educational activities, and social interactions that promote childhood development and early learning skills. Maintain a safe and clean environment by following health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary. Adapt quickly to different classroom needs, providing consistent care to children with diverse backgrounds and abilities, including those with disabilities or special needs. Observe and document children's progress, behaviors, and developmental milestones to inform teaching staff. Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth classroom transitions and support curriculum implementation. Assist with classroom management strategies that foster positive behavior and emotional well-being among children. Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar caregiving roles. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Familiarity with working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable. Experience in classroom management and behavior management techniques to create a nurturing learning environment. Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; ongoing training in early childhood education is a plus.
