Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum for preschool children
  • Create engaging lesson plans that promote learning and development in various areas such as math, physical education, and social skills
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
  • Use effective behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior and discipline
  • Monitor and assess the progress of each child, providing feedback to parents/guardians as needed
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive learning environment
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom
Experience:
  • Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a daycare or educational setting
  • Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices
  • Experience in curriculum development and lesson planning
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of each child
  • Familiarity with early intervention techniques for children with special needs is a plus
Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues
  • Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities and materials
  • Patience, compassion, and the ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment
