Job Description

Overview At Child Care Partners, our mission is to empower families by providing safe, affordable childcare that prepares children for school and supports parents in their work or education. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Preschool Teacher to work with 3-4 year old children who shares our commitment to children, families, and community. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about early childhood education and eager to create a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment using the Frog Street Curriculum. Duties Provide attentive care and supervision to preschool‑age children (3-4 years) in a safe and nurturing environment. Create a classroom culture that reflects Child Care Partners' SAFE‑R values: Safety, Accessibility, Family‑Centered Care, Empowerment, and Respect. Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, play‑based learning experiences using the Frog Street Curriculum to support school readiness. Support children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development through intentional teaching and positive guidance. Teach early learning skills including literacy, numeracy, social‑emotional development, and independence. Observe, document, and assess children's development and use this information to support individual learning needs. Build strong, respectful relationships with families and maintain open communication regarding children's progress and classroom activities. Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment. Follow all health, safety, and licensing regulations and Child Care Partners policies. Administer first aid when necessary and respond appropriately to incidents. Support children with disabilities by adapting activities and environments to ensure inclusion and success. Collaborate with fellow teachers and center leadership to support a positive, team‑oriented workplace. Experience & Qualifications Previous experience working in a childcare or preschool setting (preferred). Experience working with preschool‑age children (ages 3-4) strongly preferred. Familiarity with structured early childhood curricula such as Frog Street is a plus (training provided). Experience supporting children with disabilities is a plus. Background in early childhood education or child development is advantageous. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support children, families, and colleagues. Requirements High school diploma or GED required. CPR and First Aid certification required (training may be provided). Must be able to pass a background check. Must meet all Texas childcare licensing requirements. Must be patient, dependable, and committed to supporting children and families.

From $12.50 per hour
