Academic Preschool Teacher

Jump Up Academic Preschool is looking to hire a teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. You will be responsible to teach one or two classes of 8-10 children ages 3-5 years old. You must be able to commit to teaching the full school year and be dependable. You must have good classroom management and be able to create a safe and positive and engaging learning environment. Creativity, organization and a positive outlook are a must when teaching young children. You must be able to follow the outlined curriculum, create your own lesson plans and teach engaging lessons. There is some flexibility in what classes you will teach. Classes are taught on Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays anytime between 8:15am and 3:30pm, and/or on Tuesdays and Thursday anytime between 8:15am and 2:30pm. You will be expected to arrive 30 minutes prior to the class start time and stay after to clean up. Depending on what classes you teach you will work between 6 to 15 hours/week.

Your preschool aged child can enroll in preschool at no cost, or receive half off of gymnastics classes at Jump Up while you are employed as a teacher.
