Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Infant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in childhood development, curriculum development, and classroom management, with a passion for nurturing and educating infants. This role offers an opportunity to lead a team of educators, implement innovative teaching strategies, and positively impact the lives of young children in a supportive learning environment. Responsibilities Lead classroom activities that promote cognitive, motor, and emotional development aligned with early childhood education standards. Manage daily classroom operations, ensuring a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for infants. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and staff to maintain high-quality childcare practices. Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, address concerns, and support early intervention when necessary. Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and child welfare policies. Incorporate Montessori or other specialized educational approaches as appropriate to enhance learning experiences. Requirements Proven experience working with infants or in early childhood education settings; preschool or daycare experience preferred. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, staff, and community partners. Ability to lead a classroom effectively while fostering a positive learning environment that promotes child welfare.
Pay:
From $21.00 per hour
