Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Experienced Lead Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will serve as a key leader in creating a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children. Your expertise will guide classroom activities, foster positive behavior, and support each child's growth across cognitive, social, emotional, and physical domains. The ideal candidate will bring energy, creativity, and a deep understanding of childhood development to inspire young minds and support their journey toward lifelong learning. Responsibilities Lead classroom instruction by implementing age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Develop and adapt curriculum materials that cater to diverse learning needs, including special education and early intervention strategies. Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies to create a safe and respectful environment. Oversee daily toddler care routines, including feeding, hygiene, and emotional support, ensuring compliance with childcare regulations and best practices. Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, developmental milestones, and any concerns related to childhood development or child welfare. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or teaching aides to ensure high-quality classroom management and instructional delivery. Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor progress and tailor instruction accordingly. Maintain accurate records of lesson plans, student progress, attendance, and incident reports in compliance with licensing standards. Construct weekly lesson planning. Skills Extensive knowledge of early childhood education principles including curriculum development, classroom management, and childhood development theories. Proven experience working with children across various age groups such as toddlers and preschoolers; prior preschool experience is highly valued. Strong background in special education techniques and early intervention programs tailored for diverse learners. Excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with children, parents, staff, and community partners. Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate literacy education, math skills (including Montessori methods), physical activities, and social-emotional learning. Skilled in behavior management strategies that promote positive conduct within the classroom setting. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures for early learners; experience in tutoring or supplementary instruction is a plus. Demonstrated classroom experience with daycare or private school environments; knowledge of Montessori pedagogy is desirable.
