Lead Teacher

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Lead Teacher to inspire and guide young learners in a vibrant educational environment. As a Lead Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a nurturing classroom atmosphere that promotes early childhood development, literacy, math, and social-emotional skills. Your leadership will ensure that each child receives personalized support tailored to their unique needs. Duties include:

Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards. Be knowledgeable of and adhere to state licensing regulations. Lead classroom activities that promote early literacy, mathematics, science and art. Manage classroom behavior through effective classroom management techniques and behavioral health practices to foster a positive learning environment. Conduct assessments twice a year. Mentor and supervise assistant teacher by providing guidance on curriculum delivery, classroom management, and child engagement strategies. Engage families through regular communication about their child's growth, milestones, and areas needing additional support; and facilitate parent-teacher conferences. Proven classroom experience working with children in early childhood education settings, including preschool or private school environments. Excellent communication skills for mentoring staff and engaging effectively with children and families. $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
