  • Part-time, Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead Child Care Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a vibrant early childhood education environment.
As the Lead Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom where children can thrive. Your expertise in curriculum development, classroom management, and working with children will help foster a love of learning and support each child's unique growth journey. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead by example, collaborate with dedicated staff, and positively impact the lives of children and families. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lessons to promote child development. Lead classroom activities that support early intervention, special education needs, and behavior management strategies to ensure inclusive learning experiences. Plan engaging lessons that assess and support individual student progress. Manage daily classroom operations with effective classroom management skills, ensuring a safe, organized, and stimulating environment for toddlers through preschool-aged children. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and team members to communicate children's progress, developmental milestones, and welfare needs clearly and professionally. Supervise assistant teachers and support staff to maintain high standards of childcare quality and classroom experience. Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, child assessments, behavior reports, and other documentation necessary for compliance and continuous improvement. Requirements Must be at least 18 years old Must have high school diploma or GED. Must have experience working with children in early childhood education settings such as daycare or preschool environments. Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is preferred; ongoing professional development is encouraged.
