Daycare Assistant

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Daycare Assistant to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will support the daily care and development of young children, creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment that promotes growth and learning. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development and learning. Support children with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap time, and bathroom needs with patience and care. Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment by following health and safety standards diligently. Engage children in play-based learning activities that encourage social skills, creativity, and curiosity. Observe and document children's progress, behaviors, and needs to inform ongoing care plans. Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's day-to-day experiences and developmental milestones. Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and helping children develop self-regulation skills. Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar settings is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education. Certifications in first aid and CPR are highly desirable to ensure safety during emergencies. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus. Strong classroom management skills combined with the ability to nurture a caring environment. Ability to work effectively with toddlers, infants, preschoolers, and children of various ages. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and engage positively with families. Pay:

$12.75 - $13.00 per hour
