Teachers may work with children ranging from infants through 4 years old and are responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where children can grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. As a Christian childcare center, we strive to share God's love through daily interactions, Bible lessons, prayer, worship, and Christ-centered character development. Teachers serve as positive role models and help children develop a strong foundation of faith while providing high-quality early childhood education.

Responsibilities:

Provide attentive care and supervision for children ages 6 weeks to 4 years. Plan and implement age-appropriate learning activities. Teach Bible stories, scripture, prayer, worship songs, and Christian values. Foster children's social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and spiritual development. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment. Follow all licensing regulations, center policies, and health and safety procedures. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and daily activities. Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members. Assist with diapering, potty training, feeding, and other daily care routines as needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required. Previous childcare, preschool, or early childhood education experience preferred. CDA, Early Childhood Education coursework, or related credentials are a plus. Ability to work with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. Strong communication and classroom management skills. Must be dependable, patient, and nurturing. Ability to pass required background checks and meet state licensing requirements. Supportive of the mission and Christian values of the center.
