The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for animals, strong handling skills, and experience in pet care. This role involves ensuring the safety, well-being, and comfort of dogs while their owners are away, offering peace of mind to pet owners through reliable and professional service. Duties Scheduling and managing staff and operations Social media posts such as tik toc, FB, instagram, YouTube. Feed, water, and administer medication to dogs as instructed Provide daily exercise and playtime tailored to each dog's needs Monitor dogs for signs of distress or health issues and report concerns promptly Perform dog handling and restraint safely during walks or vet visits Assist with pet grooming tasks such as bathing or brushing if needed Maintain a clean and safe environment for the animals in your care Follow specific training protocols for behavioral management and obedience when applicable Communicate regularly with pet owners regarding their dog's condition and activities Handle heavy lifting when necessary, such as moving supplies or assisting with larger animals Skills Experience in dog training, pet sitting, or animal handling preferred Veterinary technician or assistant experience is a plus Knowledge of animal restraint techniques and pet care best practices Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners Ability to handle animals safely, including those requiring special attention or veterinary care Experience with kennel management or animal care facilities is advantageous Pet grooming skills are beneficial but not required Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods Compassionate attitude with a strong sense of responsibility toward animal welfare Pay negotiable based on experience and value provided, we are a growing and expanding company with advancement and possible ownership/partnership opportunities.
Pay:
$13.77 - $25.00 per hour
