In this role, you will support the development and well-being of young children in a nurturing classroom environment. Your enthusiasm for working with children, combined with your knowledge of childhood development principles, will help create a positive and engaging space where children can learn, grow, and thrive. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development Support children during daily routines such as meals, naps, playtime, and learning activities Foster a safe, inclusive, and welcoming classroom environment by practicing effective behavior management and classroom management techniques Engage with children to encourage curiosity, exploration, and social interaction Help maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials and toys Follow mandated reporting laws to ensure the safety and well-being of all children Collaborate with team members to monitor individual progress and address each child's unique needs Skills Prior experience working with young children in preschool or daycare settings Knowledge of childhood development stages and early childhood education best practices Certification or training in pediatric first aid and child CPR (First aid) Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs (Special education) Strong classroom management skills and ability to implement behavior management strategies Familiarity with toddler care, infant care, and classroom experience in early childhood settings Ability to follow safety protocols related to childcare, including mandated reporting laws Excellent communication skills for working with children, parents, and team members Compassionate caregiving attitude with patience and enthusiasm for teaching young learners Join us in shaping bright futures!
