Teacher

Job Summary:

We are seeking a caring, patient, and energetic Teacher to support the growth and development of children aged 2 years old. The ideal candidate will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment that promotes early social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities Foster a safe, loving, and inclusive classroom environment Support children's social and emotional development through positive guidance Encourage language development through reading, singing, and conversation Assist with daily routines including meals, naps, and diapering/toileting Observe and document children's progress and behavior Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development and daily activities Follow all licensing and health/safety regulations

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred) Experience working with toddlers (ages 1-3) preferred Knowledge of child development principles CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 40 pounds Ability to sit, stand, bend, and move quickly as needed Comfortable working on the floor and engaging in active play

Work Environment:

Fast-paced childcare setting Requires constant supervision and interaction with children

Pay:

$12.77 - $14.00 per hour
