  • Full-time As Aya Montessori's Sterling community continues to grow, we're expanding our teaching team.
We are an established, close-knit school deeply committed to authentic Montessori philosophy, serving children from birth to age 6. Our facility was intentionally built from the ground up with the child—and the guide—in mind. You will have the unique opportunity to step into a beautiful, brand-new Toddler classroom and truly shape the environment from day one. Fully equipped with high-quality materials, your classroom connects directly to an expansive nature playground designed to foster gross motor movement and environmental stewardship. Unique to our school, our authentic Montessori environments are enriched with Arabic language learning and spiritual development through Islamic education. We are currently seeking a Lead Guide for our upcoming Toddler classroom who is passionate about building a peaceful, nurturing environment from the ground up. About the Role In this foundational role, you'll guide children ages 16 months to 3 years through their earliest years of independence and self-discovery. You'll create a carefully prepared environment where toddlers develop practical life skills, language, and motor control at their own pace. You'll be paired with a mentor guide during your first months to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing professional support as you build community with families. Minimum Requirements Montessori Diploma (Assistants to Infancy) or current enrollment in a Montessori training program A calm, nurturing presence and strong classroom management skills A deep understanding of and love for authentic Montessori principles An open, respectful mindset, ready to thrive in a bilingual, faith-enriched community
