Company Overview The Kensington School, established in 2010, is dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. Our mission is to foster a stimulating early care and educational experience that promotes each child's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Summary We are seeking an enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at The Kensington School. In this role, you will create and implement engaging lesson plans that support the developmental needs of young children while fostering a love for learning in a nurturing environment. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote early childhood learning. Create a safe and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery. Support children's social and emotional development through interactive activities. Conduct assessments to monitor children's progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and teaching strategies. Requirements Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Experience in lesson planning and classroom management. Ability to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Pass background checks as required.
