Lead Teachers for Nursery/Preschool

Little Flock Nursery & Preschool , a faith-based early childhood center running out of Websterville Baptist Church, is seeking a nurturing and dependable Lead Teacher to join our team. We provide an environment where children are loved, encouraged, and guided through play and learning. Responsibilities:

Lead a classroom of young children in a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and daily activities Manage classroom routines including play, meals, rest, and transitions Supervise and support assistant teachers and aides as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment Observe and document children's development and progress Communicate regularly and professionally with families Model positive Christian values in daily interactions

Qualifications:

Experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting Strong leadership, organization, and classroom management skills Reliable, compassionate, and team-oriented Must qualify as a Teacher or Associate Teacher under Vermont Child Care Licensing Regulations Must pass all required background checks per Vermont state regulations Agree with and uphold the Statement of Faith of Websterville Baptist Church and Little Flock Nursery & Preschool If you love children and feel called to make a difference in their lives, we'd love to hear from you!
