Job Description

Nadeau's Playschool is seeking a nurturing, dependable, and experienced
  • Lead Mobile Infant Teacher
  • to join our early childhood team.
This position works with children approximately
  • 10 months to 18 months
  • and focuses on creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment that supports early learning and secure attachments.
We are a Vermont-licensed program committed to high-quality care, strong family partnerships, and developmentally appropriate practice.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum for mobile infants
  • Support daily routines including feeding, diapering, rest, and transitions
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom
  • Complete observations and documentation of children's development
  • Communicate daily with families through Brightwheel and in person
  • Follow Vermont child care licensing regulations and center policies
  • Work collaboratively with coworkers and administrationQualifications (Vermont Requirements)Applicants must meet
  • Vermont Early Childhood Licensing qualifications for a Lead Teacher
  • , including one of the following:
  • CDA (Child Development Associate)
  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field
  • Completion of 12 credits in Vermont required early childhood coursework
  • Relevant experience in a licensed child care settingAdditional Requirements
  • At least 18 years old
  • Experience with infants/toddlers preferred
  • Ability to pass Vermont background check and fingerprinting
  • Current CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
  • Reliable, patient, and team-oriented
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
