Job Description

Overview Join our dedicated educational team as a 1:1 Aide, where you will play a vital role in supporting the individual needs of a student with a diverse learning profile. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with a child who requires personalized assistance to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes growth, independence, and confidence. Responsibilities Provide one-on-one support to a student with disabilities or special needs, ensuring they can access and participate fully in classroom activities. Assist with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapt instructional materials to meet the student's unique learning requirements. Help manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement strategies and consistent behavior management techniques. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and the family Supervise and assist students during classroom activities and social or unstructured times Maintain a safe and nurturing environment by following all health and safety protocols and promptly addressing any student needs or concerns. Track and record the student's progress towards goals through data collection Skills Experience working with children in early childhood education settings or preschool environments. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in special education. Proficiency in classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Strong organizational skills Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support children's growth through tailored childcare approaches. Pay:
$25.00 per hour
