Lead Teacher - Miss Candace's House Early Learning Center Arlington, WA | Full-Time | Join our growing team!
About Us:
Miss Candace's House Early Learning Center is a brand-new, high-quality childcare and early learning facility designed to feel like home — warm, welcoming, and full of hands-on learning. Our mission is to nurture curiosity, confidence, and creativity in young children through play-based exploration and meaningful relationships.
Position:
We're looking for experienced, loving, and motivated Lead Teachers who are excited to create engaging classroom environments and guide children through discovery-based learning. If you believe that play is learning and that connection is the foundation of education, you'll fit right in here.
Responsibilities:
Plan and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that supports whole-child growth (social, emotional, cognitive, and physical) Create a nurturing, inclusive, and organized classroom environment Observe, assess, and document children's development Build strong, positive relationships with families and teammates Model respect, patience, and joy in every interaction Collaborate with the center director and co-teachers to maintain licensing standards and uphold the center's philosophy
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years or older ECE Certificate, CDA, or degree in Early Childhood Education (or working toward one) preferred Minimum of 1 year of classroom experience (2+ years preferred) Ability to create lesson plans and manage a classroom Passion for early learning, play-based education, and supporting children's growth Reliable, kind, and team-oriented
