Responsibilities Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate, inquiry-based instruction for your assigned age group Build a warm, structured classroom environment that supports academic readiness, social-emotional growth, and developmental milestones Use hands-on, multisensory teaching strategies tailored to early learners Observe and track individual student progress; communicate regularly with families Collaborate with grade-level and Early Years teams; participate in ongoing professional learning Support children's transitions between program levels Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or related field required; Master's preferred Experience teaching children ages 3-5 (Preschool, Pre-K, TPK, or Kindergarten) Familiarity with play-based, structured literacy, or inquiry-based learning frameworks Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills Experience with or openness to IB PYP Washington State teaching certification preferred About Bellevue Children's Academy BCA is an IB World School serving Early Years through Grade 4, located in Bellevue, WA.
