In this role, you will play a vital part in nurturing and guiding toddlers through their foundational years, fostering a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment. Your enthusiasm for working with young children will help create a joyful space where curiosity blossoms and social-emotional skills flourish. As a key team member, you will support classroom activities, assist with daily routines, and ensure each child's well-being is prioritized at all times. Duties Collaborate with the lead teacher to implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote early childhood development. Assist in supervising and engaging with toddlers during playtime, mealtime, nap time, and other daily routines. Support classroom management by maintaining a safe, clean, and organized environment conducive to learning and exploration. Provide attentive care to children's individual needs, including diapering, feeding, and comforting as necessary. Help monitor children's behavior using positive guidance techniques to foster social skills and emotional regulation. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and daily experiences. Follow all health and safety protocols diligently, including first aid procedures when required. Able to lift children throughout the day. Diaper changes. Skills Strong understanding of childhood development principles and early education best practices. Experience working with infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children in daycare or classroom settings. Knowledge of behavior management strategies suitable for young children. Ability to implement classroom routines with patience, energy, and enthusiasm. Certification in first aid and CPR preferred; willingness to obtain if not already certified. Familiarity with special education needs and working with children with disabilities is a plus. Excellent communication skills to build positive relationships with children, families, and team members. Pay:
