Job Description

Child's Time Early Learning Center is a nurturing and dynamic environment dedicated to providing high-quality learning experiences and childcare services for the families we serve. We believe in fostering a love for learning in children while supporting families in their educational journey. Position Summary Our center is seeking an experienced and passionate Lead Teacher who will inspire our young learners, manage classroom activities, and ensure that we continue to provide exceptional care and education to the children in our community. The ideal candidate will create a supportive and engaging classroom atmosphere that encourages exploration, creativity, and social development. As a Preschool Teacher, you will: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment, ensuring all materials and equipment are used and stored hygienically. Uphold all health, safety, and licensing standards at all times. Support children with toileting and diapering needs, when applicable, in accordance with center policies and developmental best practices. Model professionalism by respecting family confidentiality and maintaining positive, respectful relationships with children, families, and staff. Foster an engaging, inclusive classroom by encouraging children's participation in all learning activities and routines. Communicate effectively with families regarding children's development, progress, and any concerns, in collaboration with center leadership. Serve meals and snacks prepared by the center cook, following proper meal service and supervision procedures. Implement center-approved curriculum and daily schedules that support kindergarten readiness and whole-child development. Collaborate with center leadership and teaching staff to support program goals related to enrollment, quality standards, accreditation, and family engagement. Demonstrate the ability to work independently while also leading and supporting classroom staff as needed. Occasionally assist in other classrooms as a floater or breaker to support overall center operations. Required Skills/Experience Must be able to pass a portable background check (DCYF) and TB test Current CPR, First Aid/HIV, Bloodborne Pathogens, and food handler's certifications Creativity, compassion, and professionalism are a MUST. Physically able to perform tasks, including sitting on the floor, bending, and/or standing. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be registered with MERIT (DCYF) and have a

Monday-Friday Wage:
