Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Breaker Floater/Assistant to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this versatile role, you will support classroom activities, assist lead teachers, and ensure a safe, nurturing environment for children of various ages. Your energetic approach and dedication will help foster positive developmental experiences, promote engaging learning, and maintain smooth classroom operations across multiple settings. Duties Provide flexible support to lead teachers by assisting with daily classroom routines, activities, and supervision of children Engage children in age-appropriate play, learning exercises, and social interactions to promote development in areas such as language, motor skills, and emotional regulation Support classroom management by maintaining a clean, organized environment and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times Assist with diapering, feeding, and personal care routines for infants and toddlers Help implement curriculum plans aligned with childhood development principles and early education standards Step into various classrooms as needed to ensure consistent coverage and support during staff absences or busy periods Foster positive behavior management strategies by encouraging good conduct and social skills among children Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development milestones and best practices in early education Certification or training in first aid and CPR is desirable to ensure child safety Experience with special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus Strong classroom management skills combined with patience, enthusiasm, and adaptability Background in caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting enhances suitability for this role Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to create a supportive environment Join us as a Breaker Floater/Assistant and become an essential part of nurturing young minds!
