We are seeking a dedicated, passionate, and highly qualified Infant Lead Teacher to join our growing team. The Lead Teacher will provide a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children in accordance with Kiddie Academy standards. The role involves leading classroom activities, developing lesson plans, and creating a collaborative and nurturing atmosphere for students.Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the classroom, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children. Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans based on the Kiddie Academy Life Essentials® curriculum. Foster positive relationships with children, families, and co-workers. Monitor children's development and maintain up-to-date documentation on their progress. Collaborate with Assistant Teachers and other staff to create a supportive learning environment. Ensure a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress, needs, and school events. Follow all health, safety, and licensing guidelines for early childhood education. Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development opportunities. Act as a mentor and guide to Assistant Teachers, offering support and feedback.Qualifications:
Lead Teacher certification in the state of Washington or eligibility to obtain it. At least 2 years of teaching experience in an early childhood setting. Strong knowledge of child development and early childhood education practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to plan, organize, and implement curriculum in a creative and responsive manner. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Must pass all required background checks.Preferred Skills:
Experience in managing a team or mentoring other teachers. Familiarity with Kiddie Academy's Life Essentials® curriculum. Strong organizational and time management skills. Enthusiastic about early childhood education and the positive development of children.Benefits:
