In this role, you will inspire young learners, foster a nurturing classroom environment, and implement engaging curriculum that supports developmental milestones. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working alongside a collaborative and supportive team. Key Responsibilities Plan and implement Sunshine Tots curriculum, adapting to each child's needs Create a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment Guide and support assistant teachers Build strong relationships with families and communicate child progress Support enrollment, Early Achievers (QRIS), and accreditation goals Ensure compliance with WA state licensing requirements Assist with daily operations, record-keeping, and classroom preparation Qualifications WA State ECE Stackable Certificate or equivalent (preferred) Associate's or Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education (preferred) 2-3 years of ECE experience (preferred) Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Ability to lift children and work indoors/outdoors Ideal Qualities Passion for early childhood education Patience, warmth, and empathy Strong communication and organizational skills Team-oriented and adaptable mindset Benefits Paid holidays and PTO Professional development opportunities Supportive team environment Growth and advancement opportunities
