Job Description

We are seeking a warm, responsive, and engaging Hebrew Immersion Teacher to join our toddler classroom (ages 2-3). This educator will support young children in developing early Hebrew language skills through daily routines, meaningful interactions, and hands-on experiences. The role centers on building strong relationships and creating a safe, nurturing environment where children can explore, grow, and learn at their own pace. Key Responsibilities Create a nurturing, responsive, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment Use Hebrew consistently throughout the day across routines, play, and interactions Support children's social-emotional development and emerging independence Plan and facilitate process-based learning experiences Follow children's interests and support curiosity-driven exploration Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom Communicate with families in a professional and supportive manner Qualifications Fluency in spoken Hebrew (required) Experience working with toddlers (ages 2-3 preferred) Understanding of early childhood development, especially toddler development Patient, nurturing, and flexible approach to working with young children Strong collaboration and communication skills What We're Looking For An educator who is responsive, calm, and attuned to young children's needs Someone who values process over product in early learning A teacher who can naturally and authentically incorporate Hebrew into everyday interactions A team player who contributes positively to the classroom community Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Medical and dental benefits Federal and Jewish holidays off Winter Break and Summer off Supportive team environment Opportunities for professional growth
