Full Job Description Summary:

At Holy Family Bilingual Catholic School our vision statement is: With God's love, we cultivate a rich cultural community through an empowering Spanish two-way immersion program in which students become innovative thinkers, global leaders and disciples of Christ. We invite you to be a part of our Early Learning Team where you will work collaboratively with other preschool and prekindergarten lead teachers to ensure academic excellence in our preschool Spanish immersion program. You will support student achievement in language arts, math and early literacy. This is an exciting and unique opportunity to work in a tight-knit multicultural community. The ideal candidate will have experience working with younger students (ages 2-4 years-old) of different cultures and a desire to be a part of a Catholic community. Holy Family is a dual language (Spanish/English) program school and this position requires a bilingual candidate with oral and written proficiency in English and Spanish.

To begin August 2026-June 2027 with potential for continuation for summer and/or future years. Qualifications Bilingual oral proficiency (Spanish/English) (required) Literacy skills in both English and Spanish Stars and First Aid Training Certified or ability to pursue teaching certificate for early education Experience in a diverse, educational community (preferred) Experience working with students ages 2-4 years-old Compassionate and enthusiastic about working with young children Knowledgeable about early learning and literacy Experience or ability to lead a classroom including writing curriculum, planning, assessing and communicating with parents Strong interpersonal, collaborative skills Skilled at differentiation of instruction Commitment to Catholic Education Organizational Practices Lead a Spanish-immersion classroom Collaborate with other early education teachers to align curriculum and structure lessons in early literacy in Spanish Participate actively in meetings with colleagues to ensure consistency in academic assessments and student behavioral expectations Supervise and assist with lunch clean up Supervise during recess and structured play time Differentiate instruction to ensure growth for all students Participate in regular professional development Communicate regularly with parents and guardians Create, execute and communicate positive classroom systems that promote routine, expectations and positive discipline The above lists essential qualifications and responsibilities.
