This hybrid role is perfect for a qualified educator who loves direct classroom interaction but is also ready to take on administrative and leadership responsibilities to support our center's growth.
Managerial Responsibilities Staff Leadership:
Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training new staff; provide mentorship and conduct regular staff meetings.
Operations Support:
Help manage daily operations, ensuring full compliance with state licensing and safety regulations.
Administrative Oversight:
Manage student records, enrollment, and classroom scheduling to maintain required ratios.
Enrollment & Marketing:
Lead tours for prospective families and manage parent inquiries professionally.
Classroom & Instructional Responsibilities Program Development:
Create and implement a creative, age-appropriate curriculum that fosters social and emotional growth.
Child Assessment:
Observe and document each child's development to help build their self-esteem and social competencies.
Classroom Management:
Maintain a safe, clean environment and lead children in resolving interpersonal conflicts.
Parent Communication:
Regularly collaborate with families to discuss child progress and background.
Requirements & Skills Education:
Minimum of 45 ECE credits ; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred already approved in
Merit Experience:
Proven experience as a Preschool Teacher; previous leadership or supervisory experience is highly desired.
Compliance:
Must meet all State requirements, including: STARS basic certificate & DCYF training. Cleared background check through MERIT. Negative TB test & MMR immunization. CPR/First Aid certification and Food Handlers Permit.

Strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and a genuine passion for early childhood development
