  • Part-time Overview We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Substitute Childcare Provider to join our team.
Ideal candidates will be passionate about working with children and committed to fostering a safe, engaging, and educational environment. This role involves caring for children in a daycare preschool classroom. Our Childcare Providers play a crucial role in the development and well-being of the children in our care. Schedule As a substitute your schedule will vary. We are happy to talk with you to see how your scheduling needs work with our Center needs. Duties Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Implement educational programs that encourage curiosity and creativity. Maintain a safe and clean environment for children, adhering to health and safety regulations. Manage classroom behavior effectively to ensure a positive atmosphere for all students. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns. Assist with daily routines such as meals, naps, and personal hygiene. Provide first aid when necessary and ensure all safety protocols are followed. Skills Strong understanding of childcare principles, including caregiving techniques and behavior management strategies. Experience in classroom management within daycare or preschool settings is desirable. Ability to educate children through engaging activities that cater to their developmental needs. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. Familiarity with first aid practices is essential for ensuring children's safety.
