Lead Pre-School Teacher

Responsibilities Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Lead classroom activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of preschool-aged children. Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management strategies. Support children with special education needs and participate in early intervention programs to ensure inclusive learning experiences. Oversee daily childcare routines such as diapering, feeding, nap times, and toddler care to ensure safety and comfort. Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviors. Collaborate with parents and guardians through regular communication about child welfare and developmental milestones. Create timely lesson plans, follow a schedule and manage ordering supplies for your class. Experience Proven classroom management experience within early childhood education or preschool settings. Must follow/learn WA state DCYF guideline Develop curriculum based on children's needs. Experience working with children of diverse backgrounds, including those requiring special accomodations. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Prior experience in daycare or private school environments is great. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in pre-school care is essential for success in this role.
