We are looking for an educator who brings professionalism, creativity, and a strong understanding of early childhood development.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:45 AM-5:45
PM Work Location:
In person
  • Tukwila WA Teacher Responsibilities Plan & Lead weekly lesson planning that supports whole‑child development Communicate positively with families and coworkers Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment Adapt quickly, multitask confidently, and stay calm in a fast‑paced setting Support children's social‑emotional, cognitive, and physical growth Model professionalism, reliability, and teamwork Must know and follow all Washington State WAC health, safety, and licensing standards for early learning programs Required Qualifications 2+ years of lead classroom teaching experience with preschool‑age children (2.
5-5 years) completed within the last 5 years Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practice Ability to adapt, multitask, and problem‑solve throughout the day
Educational Requirements:
AA in Early Childhood Education, or Completed Washington State ECE Stackable Certificates (Initial, Short, or State Certificate) BA in Early Childhood Education is a plus CPR & First Aid 30 MERIT/STARS hours, TB test, and HIV/Bloodborne Pathogen training Cleared criminal background check already through the MERIT system Reliable transportation Commitment to ongoing professional development When you join The Giving Tree Learning Center, you become part of a team that values professional excellence, long‑term relationships, and a joyful learning environment.
