Job Description
Job Summary We are a faith-based early learning center dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. Our team is passionate about creating meaningful relationships with children and families while fostering a positive, supportive workplace culture. We are seeking a Center Lead Teacher who is confident, organized, and passionate about early childhood education. This role is responsible for leading a classroom, supporting staff, maintaining compliance with licensing standards, and modeling Christ-centered values in daily interactions. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, team-oriented, and committed to providing high-quality care and education. Duties Lead and manage daily classroom operations Ensure compliance with all state licensing regulations (WAC/DCYF if applicable) Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment Provide positive guidance and support for children's behavior Build strong, respectful relationships with families Supervise and support assistant teachers and classroom staff Maintain accurate records (attendance, incident reports, assessments, etc.) Model professionalism, teamwork, and strong work ethic Integrate faith-based values and practices into the classroom in an age-appropriate way Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent (required) ECE Initial Certificate or higher (preferred or willingness to obtain) Previous experience in a licensed childcare setting Strong understanding of child development and classroom management Ability to lead a team and communicate effectively Must pass background check and meet state licensing requirements CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain) A positive, dependable, and professional leader Someone who thrives in a team environment Strong classroom management and supervision skills A heart for children and families Alignment with our faith-based mission and values
Pay:
$18.50 - $23.00 per hourBenefits:
