Teacher

We are looking for a teacher to join our team! The Sprout House is a warm, Montessori-inspired licensed Family Home Child Care program in Woodinville serving infants through preschool-aged children. We are seeking a dependable, experienced long-term Teacher to join our team beginning August 2026. We're looking for someone who genuinely loves working with children, thrives in a collaborative environment, and has experience working with multi-age groups in a licensed childcare setting.

Monday:

11:00 AM-5:00

PM Tuesday:

11:00 AM-5:00

PM Wednesday:

7:30 AM-5:00

PM Thursday:

11:00 AM-5:00

PM Friday:

7:30 AM-1:00

PM Compensation:

$22.00-$23.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications

Qualifications:

Experience working with multi-age groups in a licensed childcare setting Experience with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children strongly preferred Familiarity with Montessori-inspired practices or a child-led, respectful approach to early learning preferred Reliable, warm, team-oriented, and proactive Strong classroom management and active supervision skills Comfortable with diapering, toileting, meal support, transitions, outdoor play, and maintaining a clean/safe learning environment Able to lift, bend, sit on the floor, and actively engage with children throughout the day

Washington State Licensing Requirements:

Applicant must meet Washington State DCYF requirements for employment in a licensed Family Home Child Care, including: Be at least 18 years old High school diploma or equivalent Pass a DCYF background check Current Pediatric CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain before start) Current Food Worker Card (or willingness to obtain) Completion of required DCYF health and safety trainings TB screening/health verification as required Meet education/training requirements applicable to the role
