Job Description

Company Overview Country Kids is a welcoming and nurturing child care center located in Eagle, Wisconsin. We serve children from 12 weeks to 12 years old, providing a safe and engaging environment for early childhood development. Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Child Care Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will create a positive learning atmosphere, develop age-appropriate curricula, and support children's social, emotional, and educational growth. Your passion for working with children will help foster a love of learning and ensure each child's well-being. Duties Plan and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy education, math, physical education, and nature inspired methods. Support classroom management by maintaining a safe, organized, and stimulating environment for children of various ages, including toddlers and preschoolers Develop individualized activities for children requiring special education or early intervention services to promote inclusive learning experiences Monitor and assess children's progress through observations and standardized testing when appropriate, adjusting activities to meet developmental needs Foster positive behavior management strategies to encourage cooperation, respect, and social skills among children Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, milestones, and any concerns about welfare or development Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, classroom management strategies, and classroom experience enhancements Requirements Prior experience working with children setting; classroom experience in early childhood education is highly valued Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early intervention and special education Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members Ability to develop engaging lesson plans Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is preferred; ongoing professional development is encouraged Passion for nurturing children's growth and creating a supportive learning environment Join us to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners!
