Job Description
Job Summary We are excited to announce the opening of a brand-new child care center and are seeking a passionate and dynamic Lead Teacher to join our team at the Orion location. As a Lead Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young children. Your leadership will set the foundation for high-quality early childhood education, ensuring that each child's developmental needs are met with enthusiasm and professionalism. This is an incredible opportunity to shape the future of our center while fostering a love of learning in our youngest learners. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that promote early childhood development, literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional skills. Lead classroom activities with energy and enthusiasm, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children from toddler to preschool age. Manage classroom routines and behavior management strategies to support positive interactions and foster independence among children. Collaborate with team members to design lesson plans tailored to individual learning styles and developmental stages, including early intervention strategies. Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, milestones, and any concerns related to child welfare or classroom behavior. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff to uphold high standards of childcare and classroom management. Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and best practices in early childhood education. Skills Extensive experience in classroom management, lesson planning, and curriculum development within early childhood education settings. Strong knowledge of childhood development. Proven ability to work effectively with children across different age groups, including toddlers and preschoolers. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, staff, and community partners. Skilled in behavior management techniques that promote positive social interactions. Experience with childcare operations
Pay:
