The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and develop essential skills. As the lead teacher, you will be responsible for implementing educational activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development, and meeting the basic needs of each child. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and exploration. Manage classroom behavior effectively to ensure a safe and supportive atmosphere. Engage with children through play-based learning activities that promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and development. Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience for all students. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom space. Observe and assess children's progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary to meet individual needs. Experience Experience working in a licensed center is preferred. A background in behavior management techniques is highly desirable to effectively address the diverse needs of young learners. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with both children, parents, and co-workers effectively. A degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred but not mandatory; relevant experience will be considered.
